Intended use: Treatment of neuroendocrine tumors with metastases. The drug is intended for IV injections. The patient is also treated with a protective drug to reduce the radiation exposure. The drug has a potent effect in destroying the cancer cells. In some cases, a full recovery occurs, but Lu-177 is mainly used to relieve clinical manifestations of cancer disease.
