Intended use: This radionuclide is often used to diagnose coronary heart disease and other heart diseases. This is the most commonly used replacement for Tc-99m. Tl-201 was the main substance for the nuclear cardiography. Moreover, this radionuclide is still being used for stress tests in patient with high risk of coronary heart disease.
